• We are partnering with Match Trader for our trading platform. With 11 years of experience on the Market, most advanced and in-house technology, and credible Liquidity Providers. We believe Match Trader would be the best one stop solution for our Traders.

  • You can't use the generic Match Trader website or app.

BAT Funding has its own version of Match Trader, which can be accessed through the Login Credentials button on your dashboard.

Follow these steps to log in to your BAT Funding Match Trader account:

    • Open your web browser and log in to your BAT Funding account.
    • Select the account you want to trade with and go to the Login Credentials section.
    • Copy the password provided in the credentials pop-up.
    • Enter the email address associated with your BAT Funding account.
    • Paste the password you copied earlier into the password field.
    • Click the Sign In button to proceed to the Match Trader platform.
    • In your browser, click the three dots menu (upper-right corner) and select Add to Home Screen.
    • Click Install to complete the installation process.

You can also refer to the link Match Trader Installation Tutorial for Android and IOS.

  • The timeframe for receiving your credentials depends on how you purchased the Assessment.

    Card Payments

If you acquire our Assessment through our website using your card, your account credentials will be promptly provided upon the successful completion of the purchase transaction.

    Cryptocurrency

Should you make a purchase using cryptocurrency, please anticipate receiving your account credentials within a 24-hour timeframe. Rest assured, our team expedites these requests diligently, and often, credentials are dispatched within a few hours.

Should you encounter any difficulties in obtaining your account credentials, please do not hesitate to contact us.

You can reach our support team via email at support@batfunding.com or through our Discord.

We stand ready to assist you and will facilitate the necessary arrangements for your account.

  • We would like to emphasize that we do not accept payments made via a third-party card or account.

All transactions related to assessment purchases and account trading must be conducted in the name of the cardholder.

As part of our onboarding process for Funded trader accounts, we conduct cross-verification of the name on the payment card with the KYC (Know Your Customer) profile to ensure consistency. This precautionary measure is implemented to mitigate the risk of credit card fraud and safeguard the integrity of our platform.

  • Provide accurate information:

Ensure personal details match your government-issued ID. Inaccurate details or missing documents may result in KYC failure.

    Use official documents:

Submit valid government-issued ID (e.g., Passport, Driver’s License, Residence Permit, ID Card).

    Nigerian traders (Optional):

Provide Premium NIN and a recent bank statement (dated within 3 months, with address) in PDF format.

    ID authenticity:

Using someone else’s ID or being an underage trader will result in automatic KYC rejection.

    NOTE:

You cannot change your personal information once you have placed a trade in your challenge account or during the KYC process. To see the documents accepted by Veriff, visit the link below: https://www.veriff.com/supported-countries

  • Your IP address for your Step 1, Step 2, and Funded account must match the same geographical region to verify you didn’t receive outside assistance.

If we see that your IP address has changed, we will ask for proof and reasoning of why this has occurred.

(Proof may involve plane tickets, live location checking through another medium, or another approach that BAT Funding sees fit.)

  • You can use a VPS or VPN while trading during both the Evaluation Phase and on your Funded Account. However, if our Risk Team detects a change in your IP address region, they will contact you for confirmation and may request proof, such as:

Proof of ownership for the VPS or VPN (e.g., an invoice with your name).

A VPS or VPN with a static IP address (which we can whitelist).

  • All account holders must adhere to the terms in the Terms & Conditions signed when purchasing a challenge.

All Customers are responsible for paying taxes applicable to their place of residence.

  • Cheating: Using The Demo Trader inefficiencies such as High-Frequency Trading, Toxic Trading Order Flow, Long/Short arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, and server execution.

You cannot copy trade from another individual, if found, both users will be breached.

Reverse/ Group Hedging: Using your account to bet in one direction on singular trade against another account, as this is an attempt at reversing the trade of another account for a 100% chance of winning.

Hedging: You cannot exclusively hedge through a challenge or live account.

EA/ Expert Advisor: "EA not permitted" means that a trader is not allowed to use Expert Advisors (EAs) on their simulated account; we have restrictions on using automated trading systems like EAs to maintain control over risk management and ensure traders actively manage their positions.

Relying heavily on EAs could lead to significant losses if the EA strategy malfunctions or encounters unexpected market conditions.

    No Manipulation:

Manipulation includes but not limited to:

    • Tick Scalping - constantly opening and closing trades in less than 30 seconds.
    • Arbitrage.
    • Hedging between accounts.
    • Delayed or frozen data feeds.
    • Unrealistic fills that don't take into account slippage, where a huge lot size is used and closed within a small amount of pips.
    • Allowing others to trade your account.
    • Copying others trades.
    • Taking advantage of the demo environment is also not permitted

  • Gambling: You cannot gamble your way through a challenge phase, BAT Funding defines gambling as:

    • Excessive scalping: Holding 50% or more of your trades for less than a minute.
    • All in: Betting in one direction and holding until you pass or fail. This is defined as making one trade with no risk management (not having stop-loss in place or risking more than the drawdown limit), which would either pass or fail the challenge.
    • Excessive leverage or concentrating too much risk in a single trading idea.

    Examples:

    Excessive Scalping:

The Trader is trying to execute trades rapidly, the trader takes a total of 50 trades, 26 of which have been executed in under a 60s hold time. This means a total of more than 50% of trades have been executed in under a 60s hold time and contributes to excessive scalping.

    All in:

A trader opens a one lot position on EUR/USD, they do not put in a SL and the trade runs all the way to passing the challenge in one go. This trade had two outcomes, either passing the challenge or failing the challenge, this does not show trading ability and the trader will not be processed to the funded stage.

Note: A ‘trade’ can be determined as a position held by the trader on a specific pair. ‘Trade’ may be one or multiple entries with similar timings and lot sizes. A trade could be determined by multiple entries on the same pair at the same time. Trades with vastly smaller lot sizes will NOT count as a trade. If you are found to be gambling, you will not be advanced to the funded stage and offered to retry the challenge.

    Excessive leverage:

Risky Trading Practice: Over-Leveraging and Concentrated Risk

This involves taking on excessive leverage or concentrating too much risk in a single trading idea. This is often manifested by opening multiple positions on the same asset simultaneously with the aim of rapid profit generation. This approach frequently disregards sound risk management principles and established trading strategies, such as exceeding the recommended 1-2% risk per trade or surpassing daily drawdown limits.

Such practices are akin to gambling, where outcomes are heavily dependent on chance rather than trading acumen and consistent execution.

  • We allowed layering or martingale strategies, as long as you are using proper risk management.

  • Yes, you can hold trade overnight and through the weekends with any evaluation and funded accounts.

  • What is the total duration of the evaluation period?

    • The Assessment period does not have any specified time limits imposed on reaching the trading targets for each phase.
    • You have the flexibility to take as much time as you need to trade the account, whether it takes you 1 month or 1 year. There is no expiration date for the account.
    • It's important to note that there is a 30 day inactivity limit on each account. if there is no activity, such as logging in (successfully, with a proper connection established, the account balance visible, etc.) or trading, for 30 consecutive days, the account will be automatically deactivated and closed. Please note, once the account is deactivated, this process cannot be reversed and the account will remain closed. If you plan to not log into the account for 30 days or more, please notify our team at support@batfunding.com, and they will assist you with this.

This means you have the freedom to trade at your own pace without time constraints within the evaluation period.

  • Please note that all accounts in all steps (including Funded accounts) will be limited to a 30-day inactivity period.

This means that if a BAT Funding Trader does not log into their account (successfully, with a proper connection established, the account balance visible, etc.) for more than 30 consecutive days, the account will be deactivated. Please note that once the account is deactivated, this process cannot be reversed, and the account will remain closed.

If you plan on not accessing the account for 30 days or longer, please reach out to support@batfunding.com and the team will assist you.

  • We don’t have maximum lot size rule, you can open as much as your margin allows, as long as you are using proper risk management.

  • THE JOKER CHALLENGE ACCOUNT (1 STEP)

During evaluation and Funded Account, you can hold trades during news events. However, there are specific rules regarding trades opened or closed near high-impact news events:

You cannot open, modify, or pending order positions during a 10-minute window surrounding a high-impact news event on affected currencies. This window spans 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the event.

Opening, modify, pending order a trade during this window on affected currencies will be considered a violation.

    Example: Related Currency
If a high-impact news affects USD, you can’t trade USD-related pairs within this 10-minute window.

    Example: 10-Minute Window
If you open a trade 30 minutes before a news event, closing it within the 10-minute window will be considered a violation.

TWO - FACE CHALLENGE ACCOUNT (2 STEP)

There are no restrictions on holding trades during news events during the evaluation step. You are free to manage your trades as you see fit.

    During the Funded Account:

You can hold trades during news events.

If you open a trade 30 minutes before a news event, closing it within the 10-minute window will be considered a violation

First violation will be classified as a Soft Breach, and any profits acquired will not be eligible for a Performance Fee, Any losses

incurred during news trading are the trader's responsibility and will not be removed,

Second violation will be considered as a Hard Breach, and will lead to Account Termination.

  • The BAT Funding dashboard is the central hub to manage your trading account. It provides the insights and metrics essential for monitoring your performance and making informed trading decisions. From tracking your account balance and equity to viewing daily summaries and profit factors, the dashboard is the key interface for maintaining control over your trades.

It’s not uncommon for there to be delays in the reflection of trades on your dashboard history. Please do not worry—this should be updated in due time. In the meantime, rest assured that the balance, trading objective, and equity sections on your dashboard should be correct and updated.

The account statistics displayed are automatically updated periodically, reflecting active trades. If you notice any discrepancies, please allow a little time for the data to sync.

    IMPORTANT:

Real-time trading updates are available on the trading platform. The dashboard is for informational purposes only and is not a real-time representation of your trading performance. We suggest checking the trading platform for the latest updates and using the dashboard as a guide to monitor your overall trading performance.

  • At BAT Funding, your trading journey is your own. We provide the platform and resources, but ultimately, the success or failure of your trades rests in your hands.

Here are some key points to remember about your responsibilities as a trader:

    1. Account Management:

You are in control: You are solely responsible for managing your account activity, credentials, and overall trading decisions.

One and only: Only you are authorized to enter positions on your account. Sharing your login information with anyone is strictly prohibited.

Data breaches: Should your email or dashboard be compromised due to a data breach on your end, BAT Funding cannot be held liable. Remember, safeguarding your credentials is crucial.

    2. Simulated funds, real responsibility:

Practice makes perfect: While you're trading with simulated funds, the responsibility for your actions remains real. Treat it as a live environment and hone your skills with diligence.

Own your choices: Take full accountability for all actions taken on your account. Every trade, every decision, is yours to make and learn from.

BAT Funding is not liable: We are not responsible for any losses incurred due to breaches, user errors, or client-side issues. Trade with caution and awareness.

Remember, at BAT Funding, we're your trusted partner in your trading journey. We provide the tools and education you need to succeed, but the path you choose is ultimately yours.
